New to BJJ - Phalanx v Amazon suggested

I bought 2 rash guards from Amazon. I train 2x a week. The Amazon Rash guards were 45.00/each. The additional 13$ for Phalanx is a NO BRAINER in hindsight. The comfort level dry alone is great but after rolling for an hour and soaked in sweat the Phalanx felt less plastered to my body and allowed me to move well. It was soaked but didn’t stick to my skin like the Amazon did. Now the smells. My Amazon rashguard STINKS and it’s not for a lack of trying to get the stink out. I have rolled 6x in the phalanx and the smell is still fresh. The whole reason o bought the Phalanx was because I was tired of smelling like ammonia after a couple of minutes rolling and sweating. Overall- GREAT and I’ll be back for more gear.

      Killer

XS in men’s size fits perfect - I usually wear a small in Women’s. Love the quality of the fabric: not too thick, yet protective. Soft and comfortable.

      Great rashguard!

I’ve owned quite a few rashguards and this one has become one of my favorites. Definitely one of the most comfortable ones. Designs nowadays are ultra-competitive so it’s pretty easy to find one that looks cool. So for me, it’s come to comfort and feel and this rash has it. Doesn’t hurt that my bros at Phalanx make their gear look sweet as well!

The best rashgaurds in the business!

I own several Phalanx rashguards and they are simply the best. I'm 6ft0, 170lbs and wear a medium. The large fits well around the chest and arms but is loose in the body. The medium is snug all around including the body - perfect fit.

      Like the Legendary Mithril

The problem with most Rash Guards is they do not solve the all of the problems associated with repeated heavy usage. If they are constructed well, they still acquire a funk to it. This is the lightest, strongest and most durable rash guard I have ever felt in my hands (Including Surfing Rash Guards). The fact that it comes with an antimicrobial to help with the other problem that comes with any gear you take to the gym is a huge bonus. On average I normally spend about $80 a year on rash guards between rolling and surfing. I am very confident that the total cost of owning rash guards has been cut by buying a quality, well tailored and engineered product. Problems with typical rash guards = They are not engineered for rolling and durability and acquire a funk. Problem solved with Phalanx Rash Guards !!!!!
