This Gi is awesome light weight, made really well, clean lines.
I love the quality of materials and construction in this gi; no surprise coming from Phalanx. That said, I'm a big dude and I got an A5 and found the armholes and sleeves to be both a little tight and a little constricting. Though I got the gi comfortably soft pretty quickly, the arms are still a bit problematic. Aside from that, this is an excellent gi and I'm happy I have it, even if I'm t-rexing in it a bit.
The Gi was soft, comfortable, easy to roll with each technique, will order again from this company
honestly one of the best gis i have ever had. i have had shoyorolls, fuji, hyabusa, etc. but this is the most comfortable and lightweight gi ive had. Definitely recommend it and to people who are skeptical because phalanx is mainly a nogi company you should definitely try this gi out.
From the moment I saw the preview pictures of this gi I knew I needed one. It’s an instant classic with the quality we all love from the Phalanx no-gi lineup. I love the pearl weave pants panel, jacket lining and the simplicity of the Phalanx embroidery, they really make this gi pop. I train in Florida so having a durable, lightweight gi is a necessity. This gi is definitely one of the most lightweight gi’s I own and has quickly become my favorite. The fit of the gi is like a tailored suit jacket with a nice tapered sleeve. The rip stop pants allow for great mobility while keeping you dry and comfortable during training. I haven’t noticed any shrinking after washing or stretching during training. At a very attractive price and with a great balance of performance, durability and comfort this gi is a must have.
